Monthly Green Team Meetings

Join us at The Griswold Center on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm

Join us at the Old Worthington Library Meeting Room Monday April 29, 2024 at 7:00 PM

This program will explain the benefits of native plants on your own small patch of earth and how to use them to put your landscape to work.
Growing native plants has been in the news a lot recently. Ohio (and many other states) recently passed legislation to designate the month of April as “Ohio Native Plant Month.” But why? What’s the Big Deal about Native Plants Anyway?

Precycle Day

Founded by Sustainable Worthington members, PreCycle Day is a curbside exchange of reusable items.

When: Sat, April 27th & Sat, August 10th

What: Place your reusable unwanted items curbside, then take a walk to see what your neighbors are giving away that could be useful to you. Please remove all unclaimed items from your curb by sundown.

Spread the word! Yard signs are available to display the week leading up, email partnershipgreenteam@gmail.com to request yours.

Green on the Green is an event held to promote various ways to improve the sustainability of our lives and lessen the impact we have on the Earth.
The Worthington Partnership Green Team is proud to take up the reins of the event established by our friends at Big Green Head.
This event will take place on the North Village Green between The outdoor Worthington Farmer's Market and the Worthington Garden Club native plant sale in the Griswold parking lot.
