What’s New at the Outdoor Worthington Farmers Market This Season

In case you missed it, the Worthington Farmers Market recently kicked off its outdoor season in the historic district. One of the city’s favorite events once again lines High Street with dozens of the region’s best vendors, featuring all the best that the season has to offer.

As usual, many favorite producers – from farm-raised meats to fresh produce, flowers to soaps, pickles to pastries – all return to the market. But there are always new faces to meet. New vendors this year include:

  • Too Good Eats, serving artisan drink blends

  • Marion Mushrooms, featuring a rotating variety of gourmet mushrooms

  • Rose Dough Donuts, selling freshly made artisan donuts on select summer dates

“We're excited to celebrate the 36th season of the Worthington Farmers Market with the community this summer!” says Market Director Christine Hawks. “After a cold and dreary winter, warmer days are finally here with the first of the season strawberries from Tilley Farmstead, the return of gelato from Sweet Grass Dairy and Worthington's own Batter & Bowl is back with her signature decorated cookies, bars and treats.”

And just like past years, local food trucks will park on High Street serving a hot breakfast, coffee, and other goodies to market-goers. Old favorites like Biscuit Boss, Ajumama, and Trading & Coffee return, while newcomers McGinnis Grill and Galaxy Coffee join their ranks.

The Worthington Farmers Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. noon through the end of October.

And if you’re curious about helping out, you’re always welcome to join the dedicated team of volunteers. To learn more about volunteer opportunities at the Worthington Farmers Market or with The Worthington Partnership, you can email partnershipvolunteers@gmail.com.
