The Indoor Market Moves to a Drive-Through

With Governor DeWine’s orders to limit large group gatherings, the Worthington Farmers Market – which was currently meeting indoors at The Shops at Worthington Place – pivoted to an outdoor, drive-through market at the Worthington Community Center. You can order here from each vendor!

We are thrilled to be able to continue supporting local farmers and food-makers. Governor DeWine has deemed farmers markets essential, and moving to a drive-through format is the best and safest way to conduct the market at this time.

Every week we re-evaluate the procedures to make the market as fast and safe as possible.

When Will the Outdoor Market Resume?

There is no date set to re-open the outdoors farmers market in Old Worthington. We are constantly discussing it with city officials, merchants, and vendors, and will announce an opening date as soon as it is set.

Place Your Orders the Week of the Market

Pick up your pre-orders like a pro by following these guidelines for our drive-through market. For your health and ours, this is a minimal contact service.

  1. Place your orders online or over the phone with your favorite vendors. Find a complete list of market vendors with contact info and offerings HERE.

  2. Please note that vendors may have differing deadlines for ordering.

  3. NO sales or transactions can be accepted on-site, the day of the market. You MUST pre-order.

Market Rules and Procedures The Morning of the Market

  1. Market hours are 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. We reserve 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. for those in vulnerable populations (seniors and immuno-compromised) and those picking up from a single producer. Please do not arrive before we open; we cannot accommodate an excessive amount of traffic.

  2. No walk-ups. Please stay in your vehicle. Just pop your trunk and volunteers will load your purchases for you.

  3. Enter only from Wilson Bridge Road. (The Worthington Community Center address is 345 E. Wilson Bridge Rd.) See map below!

  4. Volunteers will direct you where to go based on what and how much you have ordered. They will split you if you have multiple orders or whether you’ve just ordered meat, cheese, or eggs.

  5. There are five sections color-coded by sign and flag:
    Bakery, Pizza, and Pasta
    Honey, Maple, Hummus, and Pickles
    Produce
    Meat, Eggs, and Cheese
    Pantry and Dry Goods

  6. To help speed pick-up, place an 8.5" x 11" sign in your rear passenger side window that includes the following information to help us locate and load your order:
