Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Worthington

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, and while many celebrations have been modified to fit this unexpected year, there are still plenty of ways to safely celebrate in Worthington!

Cheers and Green Beers with The Whitney House + AR Workshop

The Worthington Partnership is proud to partner with The Whitney House and AR Workshop to host a virtual DIY project and craft beer tasting called Cheers and Green Beers. The $99 kit includes materials to make a wooden beer flight caddy, two beers from Warped Wing Brewing, a bag of pub mix, and instructions for the craft. You must register in advance for free here, then pre-order your $99 kit by calling the Whitney House at (614) 396-7846 by March 13.

Irish Breakfast, Music, & More at The Blarney Stone

The Blarney Stone Tavern opens at 9 a.m. on St. Patrick’s serving an Irish breakfast. They’re also serving corned beef and cabbage throughout the day, available until it sells out. They’ll host Irish dancers, fiddlers, and live music including Chris Logsdon at 4 p.m.

Irish Crème Blacklight Stout at Zaftig

Wear green and hit up Zaftig’s taproom starting at 3 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day. Zaftig will release their Irish Crème A-crop Blacklight Stout and will also tap the Green Eyed Lady: their Mini Bomb Blonde tinted green! During dinner hours, from 5-8 p.m., they’ll host the Por’ketta food truck.

The Kells Perform at Natalie’s

Natalie’s hosts The Kells for a very special evening featuring traditional Irish music. The talented band plays Instruments like the Irish uilleann, pipes, tin, whistle, flute, guitar, and bodhran. Reserve your table for the 8 p.m. show on St. Patrick’s Day here.

Irish Cream Lattes & Goodies at Highline Coffee

On St. Patrick’s Day, Highline will be whipping up Irish cream lattes to go with shamrock sugar cookies and (non-alcoholic) Bailey’s brownies with Irish cream-flavored chips from The Flaky Baker. They’ll feature these specials on Sunday, March 14 as well!

Porters with Irish Cream at Random Precision

For St. Patrick’s Day, Random Precision Brewing will continue their Dead Wednesday with a full playing of a Grateful Dead show from March 17 from many years back. That night they’ll release their very limited edition porter with Irish cream, and pours of Jameson will only be $3 that night.

Extended Happy Hour at Porch Growler

Porch Growler will open at noon on March 17. They’re extending their happy hour and offering specials on Irish whiskeys and cocktails.
