New Vendor - Onigiri Mesume
Onigiri Musume is a team of a mom and two daughters. Musume means daughter or young woman in Japanese. Mariko grew up in Japan and has been cooking authentic Japanese food for years that was passed on to her from her mom. Find them at Booth #54 on the UMC Lawn!
Onigiri are rice balls with filling in the center or mixed in to the rice and then wrapped in nori (seaweed). Onigiri has been a staple in Japan for centuries due to its portability, affordability, nutritional value, delicious taste, versatility of flavors, and much more. We hand make all of our onigiri to incorporate the flavors of a traditional Japanese home kitchen and reflect the special taste that comes from the food of a loving mother.

Your Garden Can Help!
You may have heard we are receiving far less produce this month. Our neighbors look to us for fresh, healthy, food and you can help! If you have a few extra zucchinis, tomatoes or cucumbers in your garden bring them to the Pantry and we will share with our neighbors. Together we can keep our shelves stocked and our carts full.
Volunteer at the Market!
Community Table
Bethel Community Preschool is a play-based learning environment for children ages 3 to 5. Our teachers create environments to foster play, build relationships and encourage curiosity. We promote the physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth of children through fun, Play Based Curriculum in a safe, creative and loving environment. Learn more about the program at Booth #69 on East New England Avenue by the Dewey’s Pizza Plaza.

A Reminder to BYOWB
As summer temperatures climb, we encourage you to stay hydrated during your visit to the market! Remember to BYOWB (bring your own water bottle) and refill it at the The Worthington Partnership Green Team's water bottle filling station and drinking fountain located on the Southwest Village Green. In order to reduce our plastic waste, the Market is no longer selling bottled water.
And please keep the health and comfort of your pets in mind as well. Surface temperatures, even grass, rise quickly and can damage their paws. On especially hot days, give your furry friends a break and leave them home in the A/C!
