Second Annual Worthington Wedding Walk Set for May 17

WorthingtonWeddings_0122Following the phenomenal success of last year’s inaugural Worthington Wedding Walk, the Old Worthington Partnership (formerly the Olde Worthington Business Association) is excited to once again host the highly anticipated event on May 17 from 1 to 5 p. m. This is a great opportunity for couples who are planning to tie the knot as they will have access to 24 different vendors offering a wide range of services. Though only in its second year, the folks at the Old Worthington Partnership have been dreaming about this event for a long time. “We’ve been referring business to each other for years,” said Beth Dekker, studio director at Igloo Letterpress. “The businesses participating in this event are some of the very best in the industry, and we’re thrilled to showcase our products and services.”

For the Brides

If you're planning a wedding, keep in mind that downtown Worthington has it all. Brides may shop for their dream gown at La Jeune Mariee Maids, talk gourmet menus with The Worthington Inn or design a standout invitation with Igloo Letterpress.

For the Grooms

Grooms will want to meet with Nate DeMars, the genius behind the contemporary men’s suit store, Pursuit (ask about their mobile suit unit), chat with Donnie Austin of House Wine about the perfect wine and craft beer to serve at your reception or plan your bucket list honeymoon with Magic Cruises & Tours.

Why You Should Pre-Register

The event is free, but there's a huge incentive to pre-register. Participants who pre-register will receive a merchant “passport” that is stamped at each business they visit. Once you receive 16 stamps on your passport, you will be entered into a drawing to win a number of fantastic prizes, including, but not limited to:

Grand Prizes

Couples who choose to visit all of the businesses included on the walk will be entered into a drawing for two grand prizes – a $500 gift certificate from Worthington Jewelers and a 3-day Royal Caribbean Cruise from Magic Cruises & Tours.
