Join High Road Gallery for a Saturday Art Brunch!

While you’re visiting the Worthington Farmers Market this Saturday, make sure you head a couple blocks north up High Street to High Road Gallery & Studios. You can spend the time enjoying live music, touring the artist studios, watching live demonstrations, and getting brunch from a local food truck!

High Road hosts the art brunches every third Saturday, June-October, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. They’re an opportunity to welcome new guests to explore the gallery and studio space, located right on High Street across from the Old Worthington Library.

“We started the Art Brunch to bring High Road Gallery & Studios back to life after the lockdowns caused by the pandemic,” says Raygan Barrett, a resident artist at High Road. “We wanted the community to know that the resident artists were still creating new things, and this was a great way to invite everyone to see what we've been up to. By partnering with local food trucks, showcasing outdoor artist demos, and asking Adrianna Nagy, a Worthington high school student, to play her violin, we've created a fun event to share our art and get reacquainted with the community.”

While you’re enjoying brunch at the gallery, you can see their latest exhibition, Order Out of Chaos, featuring the work of Lee Ann Lander and Julia Hamilton. It’s on display for all of August and September.

Future art brunch dates are:

  • August 21 (featuring the Holy Crepes food truck!)

  • September 18

  • October 16
