Preview Day!

Bocado Flavor Co. was founded by husband-and-wife duo, Chef Alex Placencia and Ali Staloch. Chef Alex has worked as the corporate chef for Native Foods and consulted for beloved restaurants all over the nation. Ali has long partnered with Alex on culinary projects, with the belief that one day they’d bottle up some of their own kitchen sorcery. That vision became reality with Bocado Flavor Co., a brand they like to say was “created by an expert (Alex) and cultivated by an enthusiast (Ali).

Bocado Flavor Co. is a potential new vendor for the 2025-26 indoor/winter market. Enjoy a sample of their Mexican Chili Crisps at Booth #54 on the UMC lawn!

R & O Candy Company represents three generations of handcrafted candy that celebrates the legacy of my grandparents; Ralph & Ollie. Enjoy our family's tradition in every small batch!

  • Peanut brittle:  our Peanut Brittle delivers the perfect balance of roasted peanuts and a rich, caramel crunch

  • Toffee:  Buttery, handcrafted classic English toffee made in small batches, with rich chocolate and the perfect crunch.

  • Snowballs: Snowballs, Russian Tea Cakes, or Sandies—no matter what you call them, these cookies are soft and buttery, made with rich almonds, and delicately rolled in powdered sugar for a melt-in-your-mouth finish.

R & O Candy Company is a potential new vendor for the 2025-26 indoor/winter market. Samples available at Booth #65 on the Dewey’s Pizza Plaza!

SNAP/EBT & Produce Perks

Did you know pumpkins are edible and SNAP eligible?

Not all pumpkins taste similar. For example, carving pumpkins aren’t very sweet or flavorful, but they can add a nice texture (and source of fiber!) when they’re blended into soups, stews, or casseroles. Look for sugar or pie pumpkins if you want rich flavor for baking!

You can get extra veggies for free when you shop with EBT at participating locations. Check out producePERKS.org to learn more!

Congrats, Chelsea!

We’re so pleased to share that our market manager is part of the next class of Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Worthington! Go, Chelsea!
