Author Tim Waggoner will describe the common pitfalls of rookie writers, teaching techniques to make their fiction sharper and more exciting. Waggoner, who received the 2016 Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Long Fiction for The Winter Box, currently teaches creative writing and composition at Sinclair Community College.
