TownePlace Suites Worthington Completes Extensive Renovation

Towne Place Suites renovation 1Extended-stay visitors who prefer a do-it-yourself approach have always been pleased with a room at TownePlace Suites Worthington. Now that experience has gotten even better, thanks to an extensive renovation at the popular hotel. The recent renovation includes complete room makeovers with new stainless steel appliances and full kitchens (pots, pans and eating utensils); new bedding, carpet and furniture; complete bathroom makeovers; new lighting and updated wall colors. They also transformed one of the guest rooms into a new breakfast room and seating area, and the breakfast menu has expanded beyond the typical grab-and-go items to also include hot waffles. The waffle batter flavor even changes with the season, including the current favorite—pumpkin spice.

"We offer a comfortable, relaxing environment with an updated feel," said General Manager Rachel Marchant."It's like a home away from home." Each guest room also features a mini business center with movable desk and storage.

"We cater to people who want to do things on their own, and don't want to be bothered all the time," Marchant said. "Guests who stay a full seven days get one full cleaning (towels, trash, clean linens) and two refreshes (towels, trash and bed made). It makes them happy that we're not bothering them." Of course, they can always opt for additional cleanings.

TownePlace Suites Worthington continues to be a popular spot for extended-stay business travelers and other groups. And because the guest rooms are larger than a typical hotel room, some people choose to live there while their house is being renovated.
